Q: What is Fallen to Fury?
A: Fallen to Fury is book three in the Spear of the Gods Saga. I am launching it on Kickstarter, where you will be able to get Fallen to Fury, Rune to Ruin (book two), and Burden to Bear (book one) in ebook, paperback, or hardback formats. All physical copies will be signed, so backers will be getting copies not available through online retailers.
Q: Why Kickstarter?
A: Kickstarter effectively funds my production costs for books, like editing, cover art, formatting, etc. The site has great community of fantasy literature fans. I’m hugely grateful to the 182 people who backed the previous campaign for Rune to Ruin. Enough to immortalize their names in the Acknowledgments section of the book!
Q: Can’t I just buy the books on Amazon?
A: Sometimes. But . . .
-Not signed print copies or hardcovers.
-Not with free signed bookmarks.
-Not with freebies from Kickstarter stretch goals.
-Retail release of Fallen to Fury is a month later than for Kickstarter backers.
-Kickstarter backers get their copies with extra stuff and even before anyone can buy books from my web shop.
Basically, Kickstarter is good to me, so I am extra good to my Kickstarter backers.
